Ray Dixon was unbeaten for Colebridge Aces against Beaufort Sports 'A', in the Premier Division as the second half of the season got under way.  Jon Ludlow was in superb form for Beaufort, beating Pete Roddy and Neil Wheatley and only losing 12-10 in the fifth to Dixon.

 
Hall Green 'B' stay top of Division One following a 7-3 success at Sutton 'A', with John Ludford gaining a maximum for Green.  Jacombs 'A', bottom of the section, had a shock 6-4 victory over Sandwell Unison, as Mark Georgovic hit top form with a treble.  Penholder Mark Hadley was another unbeaten performer, as he led Colebridge Eagles to a 6-4 triumph over the youngsters of Sutton Coldfield 'B'.

 
Colin Lewis was in inspired form for Walmley 'A' in their 8-2 mauling of Land Rover 'D' in Division Two.  Smithereens and Sutton 'D' drew 5-5, as Martin Round gained another maximum for Sutton, although Norman Harvey took him to 12-10 in the fifth.

Colebridge Falcons and Colebridge Hawks also drew 5-5, with Matt Allen of Hawks the only player to gain three singles wins.  Land Rover 'C' hammered Sutton 'C' 9-1, with Chris Allen and John Dineen gaining trebles.

 

Steve Atkinson and Nigel Collins both gained maximums for Bournville 'C' at Walmley 'B' in Division Three, in a crushing 9-1 success.  Alan Thompson was in fine defensive form, as Beaufort Sports 'B' thumped Hall Green 'D' 8-2, while Darren Williams of Bournville 'B' was too good for the players of West Midlands Phones 'B', in a 6-4 win for his team.

 

Warren Stanyer and David Ranford both gained trebles for Quinborne 'B' in Division Four, in their 7-3 victory over Streetly 'C'.   Colebridge Indians gained a 6-4 result at Hall Green 'E', with the experienced Tim Fell unbeaten, but Walmley 'C' beat Indians by the same score as Bob Hawthorne clinched matters with a win in five over Fell.

Howard Lewis gained a maximum for Jacombs 'B' against Walmley 'C' but the visitors won 6-4.


Alan Winspur led Land Rover 'F' to a 6-4 home win over Beaufort Sports 'D' in Division Five and Lodge Road hammered Jacombs 'C' 10-0.
