Kingshurst Bribar 'B' had a surprisingly easy 8-2 victory over West Midlands Phones 'A', in the Premier Division.  Alan Caffrey and Karl Manning won three singles each with Luke Hemming also gaining tremendous wins over Andy Evans and Tim Freeman.  Kingshurst had previously been crushed 10-0 by their title chasing 'A' team.

Bhavesh Amlani enabled Bournville 'A' to come away from Land Rover 'A' with a 5-5 draw.

 
Hall Green 'B' took another giant step towards promotion when they hammered Land Rover 'B' 8-2 in Division One, which saw individual leader Dean Hicks in quite awesome form.  Andy Choi gained a maximum as Sutton Coldfield 'A' put the youngsters from their 'B' team firmly in their place, in an 8-2 mauling.  Colebridge Giants continue to move up the table, with their latest success being a 6-4 win over Sandwell Unison.  Sandwell also went down to Land Rover by a 7-3 margin, as Barry Clarke hit top form for the visitors.

 
Sutton 'D' won the Division Two promotion battle 7-3 at home to Colebridge Hawks, with Martin Round and Colin Cleverley unbeaten.  Quinborne 'A' won the last four sets at Colebridge Falcons to share the spoils 5-5, after Quins Dan Ranford had suffered a rare defeat to defensive ace John Cox.

 
George Webb was outstanding for Sutton 'E' in their stunning 8-2 win at Beaufort Sports 'B' in Division Three, but they were brought down to earth in their next fixture, a 5-5 draw at Bournville 'B', despite another Webb maximum.  The aggressive Bernard Oliver and Yaj Ghosh were both unbeaten as Hall Green 'C' beat Land Rover 'E' 7-3.


Quinborne 'B' edged a tight encounter with Walmley 'C' 6-4, thanks to a Dave Ranford hat-trick in Division Four. Steve ‘Inky’ Moss and Pete Vigus both hit top form for Hall Green 'E', in their 7-3 victory at Sutton 'F', who had previously won 6-4 at Streetly 'C', courtesy of a Dave Butler treble.  The Beaufort Sports 'C' trio of Ash Kapadia, Ray Cobley and Ron Kite, march on in their title bid, with their latest win a 9-1 drubbing of Jacombs 'B'.

 
Ron Fraser won his usual three for West Midlands Police in Division Five, although they were held to a 5-5 draw at Land Rover 'F'.  Baverstock 'B' lost by 7-3 margins at both Jacombs 'C' and Beaufort Sports 'C', as Daniel Rowe gained a maximum for Jacombs and Ron Harze likewise for Beaufort.  Beaufort were beaten 6-4 by Streetly 'D' in their next fixture, with David Gregg gaining wins over Frank Cheshire and David Ludlow in the decider.  Alan Winspur and Tim Bellamy both had maximums as Land Rover came away from Streetly with a 7-3 victory.
