Kingshurst Bribar 'A' warmed up for their crunch title battle with Curdworth, in the Premier Division with an 8-2 hammering of their 'C' side. Scott Prime and Mike Browne gained maximums, although young star Jack Williamson was beaten by both Ali Broadbent and Helen Turner. Alan Caffery and Tony Carter were unbeaten, as Kingshurst 'B' beat Streetly 'A' 8-2. Carter, who is enjoying a fine season, included an 11-7 in the fifth success over Terry Cooper. Hall Green 'A', who look set to continue their yo-yo existence between the top two divisions, lost to both Hall Green 'B' and Kingshurst Bribar 'B', by 8-2 and 6-4 scores.
Sutton Coldfield 'B' are still on target for promotion from Division One, with Nabil Khalfey leading the way in a 7-3 home win over Jacombs 'A'. David Ameghino and Paul Ducros both had trebles for West Midlands Police 'A', in their 8-2 thumping of Colebridge Giants.
Chris Allen was a maximum man for Hall Green 'D', in their comfortable 7-3 victory over Sutton 'D', in Division Two. Sutton 'C' triumphed 6-4 in the local derby with Streetly 'B', thanks to another excellent display from George Webb. Colebridge Falcons had mixed fortunes, with a crushing 8-2 defeat at the hands of Sutton 'E', followed by a 6-4 victory over Colebridge Hawks.
Ash Kapadia of Beaufort Sports 'C', once again showed that he is the class act in Division Three, with another treble, in his sides 6-4 win at Hall Green 'E'. West Midland Phones had an 8-2 success over the youngsters of Kingshurst 'E', with Colin Platt unbeaten. Platt was again to the fore in the 5-5 draw at Baverstock 'A', beating Luke Baker in four games, to enable his side to share the spoils. Darren Williams and Peter Haslam were unstoppable for Bournville 'B', in their 8-2 victory over their 'C' team.
Sutton Coldfield 'G' suffered defeats at the hands of Kingshurst Bribar 'F' and Lodge Road in Division Four. David Lewis was a hat-trick man for Kings in an 8-2 success, while Mark Cohen was unbeaten for Lodge in a 7-3 win, which included last game defeats of both Sid Dennis and Derek Turner. Walmley 'C' edged Streetly 'D' 6-4, as Maurice Clayton clinched it with a straight games win over Dave Gregg.
Lee Holtham of Baverstock 'B', had a shock win over Ron Fraser in the Division Five clash with West Midlands Police 'B', although his side still went down 6-4. Strugglers Team SCC suffered another heavy defeat, going down 8-2 to Jacombs 'C', who had maximums for Daniel Rowe and Phil Cohen. SCC also suffered a 6-4 reverse to Ivy Leaf 'B', who had Derek Palser recording a treble.
