Kingshurst Bribar took a huge step towards retaining the Premier Division title with a comfortable 7-3 victory over arch-rivals Curdworth.  Warwickshire champion Michael Browne, was outstanding for Kings and included a crucial win over Ian Ferguson, in an unbeaten display.  Browne was well supported by Steve Bertie and Scott Prime.  Helen Turner and Alasdhair Broadbent have virtually assured Kingshurst Bribar 'C' of staying in the top flight, with the duo both gaining maximums against Hall Green 'A', in a 7-3 success.  Colebridge Aces beat Broadway 6-4, despite the visitors including Carl Morgan and Steve Robinson.  Morgan picked up his usual maximum, but was taken the distance by newcomer Muhammed Khalid.

 
Sutton 'B' are still going strong in Division One, with maximums from Nabil Khalfey and Martin Round, in the 9-1 demolition of Colebridge Eagles.  Eagles suffered another heavy defeat at Bournville 'A', going down 8-2, as Bhavesh Amlani picked up another treble.  Roger Morris recorded a superb treble for Kingshurst Bribar 'D', as they had a shock 6-4 win over promotion hopefuls Sutton Coldfield 'A'. Sutton appear to be feeling the heat, as they could only draw 5-5 with improving Jacombs "A'. Brian Morris was in top form for Colebridge Giants, notching a hat-trick in the 7-3 defeat of Sandwell Unison.


Simon Bailey was unbeaten for leaders Smithereens in Division Two, in an 8-2 win over Sutton 'C', although George Webb took him to 11-9 in the fifth.  Beaufort Sports 'B' held Smithereens to a 5-5 draw, thanks to a Tony Stewart treble.  Steve Smith had a crushing win over Rob Sheldon to share the spoils.  Beaufort found the going tough, at strugglers Colebridge Falcons and were indebted to Alan Thompson, for a 6-4 triumph.  Hall Green 'C' are chasing hard and they did their hopes no harm, as Ian Scott and backhand specialist Steve Pinder were to the fore, in the 8-2 thumping of Sutton 'E'.  Scott had a treble for Green, in their comfortable 7-3 defeat of Colebridge Hawks.  Super veteran Ken Lancaster, rolled back the years for Sutton 'D', in their 8-2 win over Streetly 'B'.  Lancaster and Howard Knight, both registered maximums for Sutton.  Sutton 'E' gained a 7-3 success at Hall Green 'D', despite a magnificent unbeaten performance from Mick Bere.

 
Arthur Sutton and James Watts picked up maximums for Kingshurst Bribar 'E', as they inflicted a 7-3 defeat on Bournville 'C' in Division Three.  The immaculate defence of Paul Thomas, was too much for Bournville, in a 7-3 reverse. Sutton gained another three wins at Hall Green 'E', in a 7-3 score-line.  West Midland Phones succeeded 7-3 at Beaufort Sports 'C', despite a one man show from Sports Ash Kapadia.  Darren Williams and Pete Haslam both gained maximums, as Bournville 'B' crushed Walmley 'B' 8-2.

 
Sutton 'F' won 7-3 at Lodge Road in Division Four, courtesy of a fine display from Steve Bailey.  Streetly 'C' youngsters Jordan Colen, Oliver Jupp and Shane Gales, are making great strides in the game, as they showed in the 10-0 mauling of Sutton 'G'.

 
Ivy Leaf 'B' suffered defeats in Division Five, against both Baverstock 'B' and West Midlands Police 'B'.  Stefan Brown and Ryan Percival both gained hat-tricks for Baverstock in a 9-1 score, while Ron Fraser and Chris Akpobaro were unbeaten for Police in a 6-4 win.  Baverstock 'C' and Jacombs 'B' were locked in a 5-5 draw, with Jim Ferguson of Baverstock the only unbeaten player on show. The Kingshurst Bribar 'G' kids are on the march, as Perry Nash, Mitchell Nash and Buster Cobley blitzed Baverstock 10-0.  Ron O'Malley gained a maximum for Sutton 'G', in their 7-3 success at Jacombs 'C'.
