Kingshurst Bribar 'A' moved on relentlessly to another 10-0 victory over outclassed Beaufort Sports 'A', in the Premier Division.  Sports, fighting hard for their survival in the section, also went down 9-1 to Colebridge Braves, with maximums from Ian Ferguson and Edward Lynn.  'Fergie' has revitalised the Braves since his recent return to the sport and he grabbed another treble alongside Navinder Matharu, in the 9-1 success at Kingshurst Bribar 'B'.  Bhavesh Amlani is enjoying a fine season for Bournville 'A', as he demonstrated with three wins at Streetly 'A', which included a 15-13 in the fifth win over David Bissell and a 12-10 in the decider over Terry Cooper, Streetly picked up the other seven sets however for the win.

 

Roger Morris of Kingshurst Bribar 'D' beat Dean Hicks of Hall Green 'B', in a set crucial to the outcome of the individual title in Division One. Green also suffered their first reverse of the season in a 6-4 defeat, with Morris going on to record a maximum.  Land Rover 'B' were surprisingly held to a 5-5 draw by Sutton 'B', thanks to an impressive display from 16 year old Nabil Khalfey.  Mark Georgovic was unbeaten for Jacombs 'A', as doomed Hall Green 'A' crashed to an 8-2 defeat, although Dean Harvey put up stern resistance to take Georgovic to 11-9 in the decider.  Colebridge Giants and Colebridge Eagles played out a 5-5 draw, with Mark Hadley ensuring a share of the spoils for Eagles, with a three straight success over Frank Cotter.  Sutton Coldfield 'A' kept their promotion hopes alive, following a 6-4 win over Sandwell Unison.

 

George Webb gained a superb treble for Sutton 'D' at Walmley 'A' in Division Two, although Bob Findlay had a stunning win over Martin Round, to ensure a 5-5 draw for the home side.  David Bissell and Graham Fleet had maximums for Streetly 'B' in the 7-3 success over Colebridge Hawks.

 

Beaufort Sports 'B' gained a hard fought 6-4 win at Hall Green 'C' in Division Three, as did Hall Green 'D' at Walmley 'B'.

 

Pete Vigus is in fine end of season form for Hall Green 'F' in Division Four, as he showed with three singles wins at Colebridge Indians in an 8-2 result in Division Four.  Ash Kapadia was untroubled for Beaufort Sports 'C', in their emphatic 8-2 triumph over Walmley 'C'.

 

Mark Cohen of Lodge Road picked his first individual title in Division Five in the 8-2 victory at Baverstock 'B', after over 30 years in the sport. Lodge need just three points for the title after this success.  Kingshurst Bribar 'E' won the first five sets against Baverstock, but the visitors roared back to share the spoils in a 5-5 draw. Youngster Perry Nash is showing great promise for Kings and picked up two singles. Ron Fraser was unbeaten for West Midlands Police, in their 6-4 success at Sutton.
