Barry Barrett gained a superb maximum for West Midland Phones, in their crucial relegation battle at Beaufort Sports 'A', in the Premier Division. Sports are in no mood to give up their coveted spot amongst the elite however and the trio of Andy Jackson, Jon Ludlow and Harry Sideras pulled off a 6-4 victory, with Ludlow's 11-9 in the fifth success over Andy Evans ensuring the win.  Karl Manning was unbeaten as Kingshurst Bribar 'B' recorded a 6-4 home win over Streetly 'A'.  Newly crowned Birmingham champion Scott Prime suffered his first defeat of the season to England veteran Ray Dixon of Colebridge Aces, who also beat Mike Browne, although Kings won the rest of the sets.

 
Jacombs 'A' continued their amazing recovery in Division One, with a stunning 6-4 success over promotion hopefuls Land Rover 'B'.


John Cox was in awesome form for Colebridge Falcons against Smithereens in Division Two, but the visitors still came away with a 6-4 triumph.


Hall Green 'D' can look forward to another season in Division Three, following a 7-3 home victory over Land Rover 'E', despite a treble from Rover's John Dineen. Darren Williams had a treble as Bournville 'B' beat their 'C' side 7-3.

 
High flying Beaufort Sports 'C' crushed Quinborne 'B' 10-0 in Division Four.

Youngster Luke Baker showed rich promise in his maximum for Baverstock 'A', in their 6-4 win at Kingshurst 'E'.  Kings also went down by the same margin at Streetly 'C', as Stuart Oakes gained a treble for the home side.

 
Streetly 'D' demolished Jacombs 'C' 10-0 in  Division Five.  Individual winner Mark Cohen of Lodge Road  was beaten by Ron O'Malley of Sutton, but Lodge just edged it 6-4, while Beaufort Sports 'D' beat the Kingshurst Bribar 'F' youngsters 7-3.
