against Hall Green ‘E’, in an 8-2 win for his side in Division Three, although
John Swinburne took him the distance. Darren Williams ended a fine season for
Bournville ‘B’, with another three wins over Beaufort Sports ‘C’, which included
a four game success over the highly rated Ash Kapadia.
Bournville emerged 8- 2 winners, with Thomas
Bordes and Pete Haslam giving Williams fine support.
Paul Thomas of Ivy Leaf ‘A’ is another player
to enjoy a sparkling 2007/8 campaign and was on top form, in the 6-4 victory
over Kingshurst Bribar ‘E’. Tony Arends also won three for Ivy Leaf, but
promising youngsters Mitchell and Perry Nash, both took him to five games.
Walmley ‘C’ triumphed 7-3 at Sutton ‘G’ in
Division Four, thanks to an impressive display from the unorthodox skills of Tim
Stevens.
Match of the night saw Sutton G’s John Pepper gain a 16-14 in the fifth success
over Stan Willis.
