Helen Turner has been in excellent form in the Premier Division.  She beat both Bemi Okunribido and John Waters of Streetly 'A', as Kingshurst Bribar 'C' gained a crucial 6-4 victory, in their bid to stay in the top flight.  Turner also recorded two wins in the clash with Kingshurst 'B', but a treble from Alan Caffery resulted in a 7-3 defeat for Turner's side.  Title hopefuls Curdworth, swept to a stunning 10-0 victory at Beaufort Sports 'A', although Andy Jackson gave Andrew Hare a scare before losing 12-10 in the fifth.

 
Sutton 'B' have started well in Division One, with Martin Round, Nabil Khalfey and Colin Cleverley, showing promotion form, in the 9-1 drubbing of outclassed Kingshurst Bribar 'D'.  Sutton 'A' should also be in the hunt, as Andy Choi and Clive Stretton roared to maximums, in the 8-2 mauling of Colebridge Giants.  Colebridge Eagles won the last three sets to snatch a 5-5 draw at Quinborne, with Mahroof Hussain clinching a 15-13 deciding game victory over Glenn Whitlock.

 
Hall Green 'D' had mixed results in Division Two, with a 7-3 home defeat to Smithereens, followed by a thumping 8-2 success at Colebridge Falcons.  Brian Pynor of Smithereens won all three singles narrowly in the fifth, while Chris Allen of Green had a maximum at Falcons.  Pynor was also invincible in the 9-1 hammering of Sutton Coldfield 'E', being joined by Simon Bailey in winning all three singles.
Howard Knight of Sutton 'D' was the only unbeaten player, as his side drew 5-5 with Hall Green 'C'.  Mike Standen clinched a win for Streetly 'B' over Colebridge Hawks by a 6-4 margin, with an exciting victory over Ann Lloyd that went the distance.

 
Hall Green 'E' just edged Bournville 'C' 6-4 in Division Three, with Mike Evetts and John Swinburne winning two each.  Tony Sheldon of Bournville 'B' led his side to a comfortable 7-3 success at West Midland Phones.

 
The dependable Tim Stevens won three for Walmley 'C' in their 7-3 win over Beaufort Sports 'D', in Division Four.  Sutton Coldfield 'G' just edged Streetly 'D' 6-4, as Dave Butler had an easy win over Dave Gregg, to clinch the victory.  Previously Streetly had suffered an emphatic 9-1defeat at the hands of their 'C' team, with Jordan Colen and Shane Gales maximum men.  Colen also won three against Jacombs 'B', in a 6-4 triumph.

 
Youngster James Hudson gained two fine scalps for Colebridge Indians at Sutton Coldfield 'H' in Division Five, but his side went down 6-4, with the experienced duo of Belle Halliwell and Ron O'Malley picking up two singles each.  Derek Palser ensured a 6-4 success for Ivy Leaf "B' over Baverstock 'C', despite an excellent treble from Jim Ferguson.  A Lee Holtham maximum ensured a 7-3 win for Baverstock 'B' over Team SCC.
