Aces won the other seven sets, in their bid to finish third behind Kingshurst Bribar 'A' and Curdworth.
Rob Tomback is proving a fine signing for F.Jacombs 'A' in Division One, as his side snatched a 5-5 draw with promotion hopefuls Sutton Coldfield 'A'. Clive Stretton and Graham Williams were both victims of Tomback and it took a superb performance from pen holder Andy Choi to share the spoils for the visitors Jacombs lost 7-3 at Sandwell Unison, who had both Brian Morris and Ashley Savell-Boss unbeaten.
West Midlands Police 'A' snatched a 6-4 victory at Kingshurst 'D', thanks to an excellent maximum from David Ameghino. Colebridge Eagles had a stunning 9-1 home success over Bournville 'A', with pen holder Mark Hadley and Mahroof Hussain hat-trick men.
Hall Green 'E' came away from Kingshurst Bribar 'E' with a 7-3 victory, courtesy of an excellent treble from Kash Akhtar
Youngster Perry Nash had excellent wins over both Tim Stevens and Stan Willis for Kingshurst Bribar 'F' at Walmley 'C' in Division Four, but the home side won the rest, with Maurice Clayton unbeaten. Clayton won another three singles, in their 8-2 mauling of Streetly 'D'. Derek Turner gained yet another maximum for Sutton Coldfield 'G' in their 6-4 win at Lodge Road, including the final set against Tony Shim.
Colebridge Jaguars go marching on in Division Five, as Fadi Ezaddin and Tim Fell both gained maximums, in the 8-2 win at Baverstock 'B'. Jim Ferguson of Baverstock 'C' was the only unbeaten player as his side drew 5-5 with F.Jacombs 'C'. Barry Sullivan earned a share of the spoils for Jacombs, with an 11-9 in the fifth success over Brian King.. Team SCC are finding the going tough in their first season in the competition and went down to another heavy defeat, losing 8-2 to Sutton 'H'. Ron O'Malley had a treble for Sutton, with Ryan Goodman beating both Belle Halliwell and Alan Mantell for the home side.
